Lavin Seow
Lavin Seow is a professional actress, television host, and producer in the ever-growing Malaysian entertainment industry. She is also active as a speaker and trainer in the field of self-development and grooming.
Her acting skills and popularity cross the borders of Malaysia. She is one of the very few actresses in the South East Asia Region to have been casted alongside famous Hong Kong film celebrities the likes of Richie Ren and Sammi Cheng. She has also acted in China for 3 years, participating in over 30 drama series with famous stars from all over Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
In 2005, she won Best Actress at the Global Arts Award, where artists from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore competed for this coveted title. She was also crowned Best Stage Performer in the Malaysia Top 10 Singing Awards. Lavin is now a mother of two boys, an actress and is still working closely with MediaCorp and ntv7, making her one of the most recognizable faces on Chinese TV.
As a producer and host, she was the anchor behind the production of “The Christien Lavin Talk Show”, a lifestyle variety program that featured inspirational Malaysian celebrities who shared their views and life stories as well as the latest happenings in town. Throughout the show, Lavin also introduced the latest products and services available in the market; from healthcare and grooming to fashion and accessories.
She is also a prolific speaker and trainer, having given numerous professional grooming and self-development workshops and seminars for employees from the top to middle-management brackets of well-known companies such as Tupperware Brands, Kimberley-Clark (Kotex), and NEC Corporation. Under her guidance, these companies have vastly benefited from the increased self-confidence and charisma of its employees.
